Dr. Linda Zhou

Dermatologist

Dr. Linda Zhou is a board-certified dermatologist who is deeply committed to compassionate and empathic patient-centered care. She obtained her Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from McMaster University, her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Ottawa, and completed her Dermatology Residency at the University of British Columbia.

She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in journals including the International Journal of Dermatology (IJD), Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD), Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery (JCMS), and the Canadian Medical Association Journal (CMAJ). Dr. Zhou has also presented her scientific work at numerous national and international conferences.

Dr. Zhou has a passion for conducting clinical research and advancing dermatology education. She led the development of the Canadian Dermatology Association’s Choosing Wisely Canada recommendations, first-authored the dermatology chapter of a medical textbook, and has been involved in curriculum development at the University of Toronto. For her outstanding contributions to dermatology education, Dr. Zhou was a recipient of the Global Education Award from the International Society of Dermatology.

Dr. Zhou’s specific areas of interest include acne/ rosacea, acne scarring, melasma and other causes of dyspigmentation, skin surgery, and cosmetic dermatology, specializing in treatments such as injectables, microneedling, and chemical peels. She believes that the fusion of art and science in dermatology allows her to provide her patients with comprehensive care that not only addresses their medical concerns but also helps them to look and feel their best.
